Founded in 2025 in the Sultanate of Oman, O-GREEN was created to accelerate the energy transition and build an integrated clean energy platform that covers the full cycle – from concept and design to construction, operation, long-term maintenance, development of green technologies, and enhancement of the in-country value and competences.

SolarWadi
Leading the development and commissioning of renewable projects, as well as integrating battery energy storage systems (BESS) into future hybrid projects to ensure reliability, flexibility, and round-the-clock clean energy. Key focus area is CEV partnerships.

Naqaa Sustainable Energy

Naqaa Sustainable Energy is leading the development and execution of Oman’s large-scale renewable energy projects. Naqaa Sustainable Energy serves as a vertically integrated green energy company: covering development, EPC, generation, transmission, R&D, and logistics. Its mission is to accelerate green energy deployment in Oman and the region.

Key features:
• Development of hybrid renewable energy projects (Wind + Solar + Storage);
• Full integration of value chain (from turbine to grid);
• In-house EPC and engineering teams;
• Project portfolio under execution > 1.2 GW;
• Project portfolio under development in Oman, GCC, Africa, and EU > 10 GW.

Mawarid Green Technologies

Mawarid Green Technologies is establishing the first wind turbine manufacturing facility in the GCC region, specifically tailored for harsh desert conditions. It aims to support Oman’s green energy strategy for providing advanced, large-scale wind energy solutions optimized to the region.

Key features:
• Manufacturing of multi-megawatt-class wind turbines;
• Localization of production in Duqm, with first deliveries scheduled for 2026;
• Customized turbine designs optimized for GCC conditions (sand, heat, UV radiation)
• Providing localized BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) solutions.

SolarWadi

In 2025, we took a major step forward by acquiring SolarWadi, one of the pioneers of solar energy in the country. Solar Wadi now operates as part of Naqaa. Within O-Green, SolarWadi takes the lead on C&I renewable project development, commissioning, and long-term operations. Solar Wadi will also spearhead the integration of Energy Storage Systems (BESS) into future projects, enabling hybrid energy solutions and ensuring reliability and flexibility for its customers.
